NFHA’s 2026 National Conference, Building the Future We Deserve: Solutions for America’s Fair and Affordable Housing Crisis, brings together leaders, practitioners, and community partners to advance real, workable solutions to the nation’s housing challenges.

This year’s convening focuses on moving from vision to execution, advancing bold, yet actionable, data driven and community centered solutions to expand fair and affordable housing opportunities. The conference will highlight ways to strengthen fair housing throughout the nation, leverage responsible technology, and invest in place-based strategies that build intergenerational wealth and resilience. We will spotlight scalable innovations, cross-sector partnerships, and restorative policy frameworks that ensure fair housing is not merely an aspiration, but a measurable and lived reality for people throughout the country.

Attendees will collaborate on fresh strategies, share replicable models, and deepen connections across sectors—all with a singular goal: creating healthy, affordable, well-resourced communities where every person, no matter their zip code, has the chance to thrive.
