Location Name

Description

This is a closed session and open only to Operating Members, current FHIP PEI grantees and fair housing organization staff conducting investigations.

This hands-on workshop will equip fair housing practitioners with practical strategies for using AI tools responsibly and effectively in enforcement-related writing. Participants will learn how to assess AI platforms for accuracy, reliability, privacy protections, and potential bias; address confidentiality, ethics, and professional responsibility concerns; and develop stronger prompts that produce clearer, more useful drafts. The session will also guide participants through techniques for reviewing, editing, and strengthening AI-generated text so it can support—not replace—human judgment in drafting reasonable accommodation and modification requests, intake summaries, investigation materials, correspondence, and other fair housing enforcement documents. Attendees will leave with concrete practices for integrating AI into their work while protecting sensitive information, preserving legal accuracy, and advancing fair housing advocacy.
