Erin Kemple has been working with the National Fair Housing Alliance since 2023 to establish new fair housing councils in Memphis, TN and Winston-Salem, NC. In addition, she currently works with NFHA members throughout the country to inform them of issues that affect their fair housing work. She started her legal career in 1985 as a staff attorney at Western Mass. Legal Services. From there she began working on fair housing issues, first with the Housing Discrimination Project serving central and Western Mass and then with the Connecticut Fair Housing Center. She has given numerous trainings on the fair housing laws to lawyers, consumers, and housing providers as well as working with state and local officials to ensure that all communities welcome all people. She graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 1981 and from Suffolk University Law School in 1985.
