Dr Emmanuel Ogundimu is an Associate Professor of Statistics in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Durham University, UK, and a Fellow of the Wolfson Research Institute for Health and Wellbeing. His current research focuses on the application of machine learning methods in medical and social science research, missing data methodology, and causal inference. He also contributes to the wider discourse on the decolonisation of the mathematical sciences in the UK, having presented his work at key events, including the Conference of Heads of Department of Mathematical Sciences and the London Mathematical Society Education Section meetings. He earned his PhD in Statistics from the University of Warwick, following an undergraduate degree in Nigeria and two Master’s degrees in Belgium.
