Christoph Mugge-Durum, AI Governance Researcher, contributes to the research and policy objectives of the NFHA’s Responsible AI Lab. Prior to joining NFHA, Christoph supported projects with the Quantum Economic Development Consortium, and worked at a trade council based in Washington, DC, monitoring legislative, regulatory, and policy developments pertaining to artificial intelligence, privacy, and cybersecurity. He has experience at the European Parliament and the Applied AI Institute for Europe, where he co-authored papers on the impact of AI in finance, transportation, and data privacy. Christoph holds a Master of Science in Politics & Technology from the Technical University of Munich and a Bachelor’s in Government & Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
