Morgan Williams is Senior Counsel at the National Fair Housing Alliance, responsible for forwarding NFHA’s systemic investigations and enforcement efforts, including developing litigation and administrative complaints against entities engaged in providing, financing, and/or building housing in a discriminatory manner. Morgan facilitates cross-departmental coordination on priority NFHA legal matters, assists with providing technical support and training to NFHA member organizations, and supports NFHA’s consulting and compliance work and federal public policy advocacy. Morgan has worked at NFHA for over 14 years, formerly serving as General Counsel and Director of Enforcement and Investigations. Previously, Morgan was General Counsel of the Greater New Orleans Fair Housing Action Center, managing fair housing enforcement in post-Katrina New Orleans and throughout Louisiana and southern Mississippi. Morgan graduated with a B.A. at Oberlin College and a J.D. magna cum laude from Tulane Law School. He has served on the adjunct faculty at American Law School and Loyola Law School of New Orleans. Morgan received the Equal Justice Works Fellowship, the Effective Leadership Fellowship from the Terry Sanford Institute, and the Rockefeller Foundation Redevelopment Fellowship.
