Emma has spent her career supporting communities globally in their efforts to equitably and sustainably prevent and end homelessness, serving in roles from local database administration, to federal technical assistance. Emma has received international recognition for leading 1 of 12 regions in the U.S. to achieve a dynamic end state to veteran homelessness in Southeast Tennessee in 2019. Before joining the Lab, Emma most recently worked as an independent consultant providing organizations with training, technical assistance, and support in evaluating and addressing needs and goals within the homeless services system using evidence-based best practices. Emma holds a BA from Covenant College and an MPA from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
