Madeline is a part of the Center for Civil Rights and Technology, a hub for advocacy, education, and research at the intersection of civil rights and tech policy at The Leadership Conference, where she works on issues including AI, tech industry accountability, disinformation, and digital security. She has held roles at Common Cause and the Strategic Victory Fund. She has a background in public health and the weaponization of information ecosystems; her advocacy career began in her hometown of Minneapolis following the murder of George Floyd. She shares her DC apartment with 63 houseplants, far too many crafting supplies, and Enzo, her pet bunny.
