Bryan Greene, Vice President, Policy Advocacy, at the National Association of REALTORS® Bryan Greene is Vice President of Policy Advocacy at the National Association of REALTORS® where he oversees all legislative and regulatory advocacy on behalf of the association’s 1.4 million members. Bryan manages a 17-person team that advocates on Capitol Hill, among federal agencies, and in the courts, on the broad range of federal policy matters that shape homebuying in the United States: tax, insurance, mortgage finance, technology, environmental issues, and more. Bryan joined NAR in 2019 as NAR’s first Director of Fair Housing Policy before taking over as NAR’s lead on all policy matters. Before joining NAR, Bryan served for ten years as the highest-ranking career official in HUD’s Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity (FHEO), where a 650-person office and a $150 million budget. Bryan was the 2007 recipient of the Presidential Rank Award, the highest honor bestowed upon federal senior executives for outstanding service. Outside his policy work, Bryan writes on history and culture, as a contributing writer to Smithsonian Magazine and the Washington Post. Bryan’s 2017 article on the 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival led to his work as a consulting producer on the Academy-Award-winning film, “Summer of Soul.” Bryan earned his degree in Government from Harvard University.
