Tim Lambert is a Senior Counsel at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s Office of Fair Lending and Equal Opportunity where he is Fair Lending Programs Lead. Formerly, he was a Trial Attorney in the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice and, more recently, the Deputy Assistant General Counsel for Fair Housing Enforcement at the Department of Housing and Urban Development. He served as a judicial clerk on the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit for the Honorable Sonia Sotomayor and received his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.
