Sally Santangelo is the Executive Director of CNY Fair Housing, a fair housing organization based in Syracuse and serving 17 counties of Central and Northern New York. Sally started with the organization as a Fair Housing Investigator and later became the Director of Enforcement where she was responsible for managing the agency’s enforcement activities, including its undercover testing program. She became the Executive Director in 2012.

Under Sally’s tenure, the agency’s investigation and litigation activities have led to important cases addressing sexual harassment and national origin and disability discrimination while the agency’s policy efforts have led to ground-breaking research on exclusionary zoning as well as successful advocacy for statewide source of income protections. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Fair Housing Alliance and Home HeadQuarters, a Syracuse-based non-profit focused on housing and neighborhood revitalization. Sally has her master’s degree in political science from SUNY Albany.
